If there is only one thing we can all agree on at this time, it is that there is a whole heck of a lot of fear-based thinking being passed around in the collective consciousness. Fear of Trump. Fear of Hillary. Fear of terrorism. Fear of the divisiveness in our Country here in the states. Fear of Gays, Blacks, Police Officers… FEAR FEAR FEAR
Now, I am not an expert on the teachings of fear-based thinking and what it does to the psyche, however, I am interested in the field and read about it quite a bit. My intention here is to awaken not only myself but to also awaken as many as I can reach here on social media. I have had my fair share of propagating this madness and today it stops!! I have learned a few things along this journey and it’s time to walk the walk, not just talk the talk. It is, however, a spiritual PRACTICE so I am letting go of any festering thoughts of guilt that may be buzzing around in there. IE: Trump scares the holy crap out of me people.
Letting it GOOOOOOO.
There is a sacred truth that needs to be tapped into here. If you haven’t already heard of it, it’s pretty simple. We are all ONE. In that lies the certainty that every choice we make and every belief we hold exerts influence upon the greater whole. In this case, is our Mother Earth.
That “Love Thy Neighbor” thing… Yeah, that.
By asking ourselves: What belief systems am I holding on to that do not serve not only my highest self but of the whole? What negative monkey chatter is spinning around in the back of my mind that I may not even be aware of, is a good first step! This is the egoic mind and it seeks to divide and separate. Spirit seeks to unify and heal. This is also a sacred truth and our faith in it will restore our planet to a more loving, peaceful place.
It starts with each one of us individually. The soul always knows what to do to heal its self. The challenge is to silence the mind and release the fear-based thoughts.
Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we have learned. LOVE LOVE and more LOVE!!!! Fear perpetuates more fear. Love perpetuates more love. Get it? Got it? Good. 🙂
